A mi ciudad nativa is an art song written by Colombian composer Jaime León (1921) who set to music the poem by Luís Carlos López also Colombian and born at the same city of the composer; Cartagena de Indias.

The poem is very dear to people from Cartagena, since it describes the history of the city and its beauty. The composer re-elaborated the rhythm of Cumbia, a typical Colombian dance rhythm. The result is a ver refined and interesting song with a unique flavor.
