The Barcelona Festival of Song (BFOS) is a summer program for singers and voice teachers of all ages dedicated to the study and performance of Latin American and Iberian art songs—in Spanish, Catalan, and Portuguese.

Each July, Barcelona becomes a vibrant meeting point for singers, pianists, and educators from around the world. Many voice teachers attend to acquire new resources and tools to bring back to their own studios and universities.

Through master classes, lectures, and recitals, participants explore the history, interpretation, and diction of these repertoires, discovering composers and poetry that expand their artistry and deepen their understanding of language and culture.

Now entering its 22nd edition, the Festival continues a tradition of excellence and cultural discovery. With only 15 participants accepted each year, it offers a uniquely intimate and transformative experience.
