Welcome to Mundo Arts (mundoarts.com). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through our platform. Mundo Arts is the world’s leading publisher of Latin American and Iberian art song editions, dedicated to expanding the canon for classical singers through authentic scholarly editions, bilingual translations, and International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcriptions.
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the website.
The website and its entire contents, features, and functionality—including but not limited to all sheet music, songbooks, anthologies (such as 24 Songs and Arias in Spanish, Colombian Art Songs, Brazilian Art Songs, Mexican Zarzuela, and others), IPA transcriptions, bilingual translations, historical context, text, graphics, logos, and images—are the exclusive property of Mundo Arts (or its licensors, where applicable) and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
Mundo Arts is committed to the protection of the intellectual property of our composers, editors, and scholars. Your purchase of any material from Mundo Arts constitutes a license for personal or educational use as defined at the point of sale, not a transfer of ownership of the underlying copyright.
Strict Prohibitions (Prohibited Use):
● No Photocopying (Physical Scores): Photocopying, scanning, or otherwise reproducing printed sheet music, songbooks, or any other physical materials is strictly prohibited without the express written permission of Mundo Arts. This includes reproduction for students, colleagues, studio classes, rehearsals, auditions, competitions, or performance use.
● No Unauthorized Sharing or Distribution (Digital Scores/PDFs): You are strictly forbidden from distributing, sharing, reselling, lending, emailing, messaging, uploading, posting, or otherwise making available PDF versions of our scores or other digital editions (in whole or in part) to any other person or entity, or to any public or private server, cloud storage folder, learning management system (LMS), website, social media platform, peer-to-peer network, or email listserv, except as explicitly permitted in writing by Mundo Arts or under an applicable institutional license.
● Single User License: Unless otherwise stated (e.g., an institutional license), digital downloads are licensed for the use of the individual purchaser only.
● Derivative Works: You may not modify, create derivative works of, or publicly display (except for authorized performances) any material from our catalog without prior written consent.
Any unauthorized reproduction, copying, sharing, or distribution of Mundo Arts materials constitutes copyright infringement, violates international copyright laws, and may be prosecuted to the fullest extent permitted by law. Violation of these terms may also result in legal action (including claims for damages and injunctive relief) and the termination of your access to our services.
The historical context, diction guides (including Catalan Diction for Singers and Spanish Diction for Singers), and IPA transcriptions provided by Mundo Arts are intended for the educational advancement of singers, voice teachers, and musicologists. While we encourage the use of these materials in a learning environment, the systematic scraping or commercial redistribution of this pedagogical data is prohibited.
Terms regarding registration, attendance, and materials provided during the Barcelona Festival of Song are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Participants are expected to respect the copyright of all repertoire and masterclass materials provided during the 10-day program.
All purchases through our site are subject to our return and refund policies. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order if we suspect an unauthorized or illegal transaction. Prices for our collections and services are subject to change without notice.
Mundo Arts supports performances and recordings of the repertoire we publish. However, the use of Mundo Arts scores in public performances and recordings does not grant any ownership rights in the underlying copyrighted works or editions, and may require additional permissions and/or licenses depending on the repertoire, venue, and use.
When music from Mundo Arts scores is performed or recorded (including on digital platforms such as YouTube), musicians must acknowledge Mundo Arts as the publisher/owner of the edition in the credits, program, liner notes, and/or description where credits are customarily given.
For commercial recordings (including CDs and digital albums), musicians must contact Mundo Arts in advance to discuss licensing requirements and proper attribution.

● Individual Subscriptions: Personal subscriptions are for the sole use of the individual subscriber, are non-transferable, and may not be shared with any other person.

All matters relating to the website and these Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Mundo Arts is registered, without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision.
