Jaime León's Christmas songs are cheerful, rhythmic, and poetic; in some moments, grandiloquent and elegant; in others, intimate and delicate. These vital songs communicate the Christmas spirit very well, expressing the joy of celebrating the birth of Christ. The Canciones de Navidad, are without a doubt, an essential part of the art song Christmas repertoire in Spanish.
